Halton Housing Trust’s Property Services Receive HQN Accreditation

The Trust have been awarded, for the second time consecutively, Housing Quality Network Accreditation for the hard work of their Property Services team.

 

The HQN Accreditation will last for three years, and signifies the outstanding service Halton Housing Trust provides to its customers. The HQN Accreditation is a visible mark of recognition that the Trust not only meets the good practice standards, but often exceeds them by offering a best in practice service to its customers.

 

The HQN Accreditation highlights how a Property Services/Maintenance Team understands customer’s and community needs, and have made provisions to meet these needs. An overriding principle of the Trust’s Property Service Team, and a key contributing factor to the team’s success is that: ‘we treat Trust properties in the same way that we would treat our own’(Karen Baildon, Director of Property Services). By having this as a key principle throughout Property Services, the team have managed to embody a key Trust priority, taking ownership and responsibility for the job you do.  Ensuring properties are safe, and that run-down areas are regularly given attention and tended to are just two of the ways that Property Services ensure they deliver the best possible service to customers.

 

Karen Baildon, Director of Property Services was delighted by the news of her team being once again, recognised within the housing industry for providing a quality service:

 

“It is great that Halton Housing Trust Property Services have been yet again been awarded the Housing Quality Network’s Accreditation for our Repairs and Maintenance service. We are proud that this is the second time we have received this national recognition for the excellent work that everyone in the Property Services team carries out to provide our customers with a quality service.
