To help us turn our vision into reality, we have developed four ‘Trust Themes’ that guide and shape what we do, why we do it, who we do it for and how we do it.
The Themes identify our priorities, ensures they are consistent with the needs and priorities of our customers and local communities and determine how we allocate our resources.

- Embedding the culture of continuous improvement and challenge across all services
- Developing our people to adapt to changes in the business environment
- Improving working practices to meet / exceed our Business Plan targets
- Securing demonstrable value for money across all parts of the business
- Delivering the ‘Growth Strategy’ and maximising opportunities as and when they arise
- Minimising our impact upon the environment, reducing our carbon footprint and adopting an environmental stewardship role
We are working hard to ensure our Corporate Plan, containing the Trust Themes, is a ‘live’ document practically informing and shaping our day-to-day business, priorities and services.
Our success relies upon us continuing to deliver our core priorities and understanding how we are performing against our targets. We have a series of performance and monitoring measures in place that are reported to our Board, customers, colleagues and stakeholders on a regular basis.
