TheTrust is offering vulnerable customers moving into properties grants of up to £1,000 to help furnish their home.

The scheme was launched to help customers who do not have access to what the majority of people take for granted as basic furnishings.

Customers who meet set criteria and have their grants approved by a panel, can be offered a choice of goods worth up to £1,000.

The Trust has developed a breakdown of living costs to help customers decide if they can afford to live independently.

The Trust is also offering grants for people looking to downsize and move to a smaller home, freeing up much needed family accommodation.  These grants are used to assist with moving costs, connection of utilities and forwarding post.
