Welfare Service

We offer a range of free and confidential services to all our customers to help you once you are living in one of our homes.

Our services cover four main areas and aim to help you claim the right benefits, plan what you spend and also give some helpful tips on saving money:

     Benefits Advice

     Debt Counselling

     Money Management Advice

     Financial Health Checks

How can we help?

We offer practical advice and support on benefits and money management ranging from helping you complete benefit forms to identifying a whole range of other advice and support services that could benefit both you and the household such as Credit Unions and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

We can help and advise you over the telephone, via email, face to face or at one of our benefits surgeries.

Benefits Surgeries

Did you know that more than a million people in the UK aren’t receiving the benefits they’re entitled to?

We are working in partnership with Halton Borough Council to help our customers check whether they are entitled to any unclaimed benefits. If you are on a low income or receiving other benefits you may also be entitled to Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit?

Why not drop in to one of our free benefit ‘check-ups’ where help is also available on setting budgets, making the most of your income, basic debt advice and filling in benefit application forms?

The check-ups are held at our local housing offices on the dates below. No appointment is needed:
