Halton Housing Trust is ‘one to watch’
HALTON Housing Trust has been highlighted as ‘one to watch’ in a national survey of Britain’s best employers.

The not-for-profit organisation, which owns and manages more than 6,100 homes in Runcorn and Widnes received the recognition in the public sector and not-for-profit category in the Best Companies Survey.
The Trust was presented with a plaque as part of their accreditation at the Best Companies ceremony this week.
“We’re really pleased to have been recognised as one to watch by Best Companies as this provides an external view of how far we have come as well as supporting our plans for further improving our offer,as an employer of choice” said Nick Atkin, Chief Executive of Halton Housing Trust.
Every year more than 1,000 organisations across the UK apply for the Best Companies accreditation.
An independent survey of all employees is then carried out. Employees are asked for their views on various aspects of their work from leadership and management, to well being and personal growth.
“We take great pride in supporting all our employees and creating a very different ultra modern, flexible and vibrant workplace for everyone,” said Nick. “The findings from this report fully support this and ensures we are able to recruit and retain the very best people who deliver our high quality services.”
