The Trust has recently received a letter from the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) promoting the opportunities for customers to apply for a position on the National Tenant Voice (NTV) Council. The NTV is being set up to give social housing tenants in England a voice and access to expertise at a national level.
The structure of the NTV will include a National Tenant Council of 50 tenants. The council will act as a sounding board on housing policy issues, and will be formed to reflect closely the profile of social housing tenants on a national scale. Recruitment for members of the council has now started.
The Trust supports the work of the NTV and we are keen to raise awareness and encourage as wide a group of customers to apply for the opportunity to be on the council as is possible. If you would like more information on the recruitment process or would like to apply for a position on the council, you can get information on line at www.hays.com/jobs/ntv and can get further information and/or support in completing an application on the freephone number 0800 917 7396. The timescales are short as the recruitment campaign closes on the 16th October 2009.
