Halton Housing Trust would like to make all customers aware of reports we have received regarding a grass cutting scam. It would appear that there are two men dressed in blue T-shirts driving a white van in the Halton area telling Trust customers that they are from Vale (our grounds maintenance contractors) and that they now have to start paying to have their grass cut.
These men are not from Vale - all our vehicles are clearly marked and all Trust staff wear logos on their uniforms. Please ensure you ask any contractor that knocks on your door that you would like to see their ID badge. Please remain vigilant and do not pay for your grass to be cut.
