TWENTY local school children brought the spirit of Christmas to customers of Halton Housing Trust.
The residents of Queens Close, Runcorn enjoyed Christmas carols and songs performed by the children from Victoria Road Primary School at a service held at the Housing Scheme.
Customers showed their appreciation with a donation to the school and each child was given chocolates.
The pupils had brought each customer a table centre decoration they had made themselves in advance of the event.
Noel Sharpe, Director of Customer Services at the Trust said “this is a great example of where Christmas brings out the very best in people and goodwill spans the generations. It is heart warming to see the positive impact this carol service had for both our customers at Queens Close but also for the local schoolchildren who have worked so hard in preparing for the service too.”
