Warmth could be more affordable for many this winter

FAMILIES in Runcorn and Widnes could be better off this winter after receiving advice from Halton Housing Trust.

The Trust’s employees have been visiting customers’ homes on request to give advice on cheaper gas and electricity tariffs as well as offering energy saving tips.

Among those who received a visit were Alfred and Marie Anderson, from Widnes, who won an eco kettle – supplied by Trust contractor Sure Maintenance – in a draw for people who made an appointment.

Debbie Jameson, Customer Involvement Officer for Halton Housing Trust, said: “People have responded well to the advice that has been given out and are particularly appreciative because everyone is looking to save money where they can at the moment.”

There are two further opportunities to make appointments with the Trust advisors on November 7th and 21st.

To book an appointment call Debbie on 0151 510 5185 or email debbie.jameson@haltonhousing.org
