Halton Housing Trust's work is not just about allocating, managing and maintaining homes. We believe the quality of the area where you live is just as important as your home.
We are committed to making our estates places where people are proud and happy to live. We will be spending £6.7 million up to 2015 carrying out major environmental works.
To make sure this money is spent on improvements that you want to see, we are working with Groundwork Mersey Valley on a number of consultation exercises. This will provide you with an opportunity to have your say on the improvements you want for your area and help shape our environmental programme.
Groundwork will work with the Trust, our partners and customers to identify the key environmental improvements that are needed for each area. We will be visiting our estates knocking on doors and touring with a roadshow.
We have divided the borough in to four areas and will be visiting each area one at a time, overall it will take around 18 months. At the end of each phase of consultation an Estate Improvement Action Plan will be produced summarising customers' views and identifying practical and budgeted solutions.
