Work is well underway on a 10 year, £129 million improvement programme for our homes and neighbourhoods. This major investment will make a real difference to our customers' lives.

We are modernising 4,000 kitchens and 1,900 bathrooms, fitting 3,000 new electrical systems, re-roofing 3,000 and making sure all homes that need it are double glazed and have central heating. We are also undertaking environmental works on our estates.

By 2010, we estimate that we will have spent £85 million on improvements.

The work is being carried out by the Trust's three building partners and our own Construction Services Team. On average they will be fitting 16 kitchens and eight bathrooms per week!

We are committed to keeping customers involved throughout the improvement programme. We will keep you informed about any changes to the programme and will offer you choices of fittings for kitchens and bathrooms.
