Our customers should feel safe and secure in their homes and local communities at all times and we, with our partners, are committed to delivering good services, preventing anti-social behaviour and creating a culture of respect within our communities.
We have signed up to the Governments Respect Standard for Housing Management – a standard which ensures we work with our customers, the police and other services to communities from Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) when it starts and to put measures in place to stop it in the first place.
What is the Government's Respect Standard?

How is anti-social behaviour tackled?
There are a number of ways we manage and reduce unacceptable behaviour.
These include:
· Prevention
· Mediation
· Investigation
· Enforcement
We’re pleased to say that over 90% of reported cases of anti-social behaviour we receive are solved by mediation, without the need to go through the complex and costly court procedures.
Unfortunately this is not always the case and there are instances where we need to go to court, seek injunctions, anti-social behaviour orders or even eviction.

What can you do to help us?
To investigate your complaints as quickly as possible it is important that you help us by:
· Providing us with full details of the complaint. If you are concerned about making a complaint, we can endeavour to make sure you remain anonymous
· Completing incident diary booklets, where appropriate
· Work closely with us and other agencies if necessary
Why do you ask me to fill in diary booklets?
