Lloyds TSB, our Banker and Funder donated £100,000 to help us establish a Community Sponsorship Fund. Each year over a four year period we have made £25,000 available to help fund group or individual based community based projects. We are now in year four of our fund.

If you’re working on or planning a large project which will deliver some real improvements and benefits to your local community and are looking for some financial assistance or support please contact us.

We welcome all enquiries and applications but priority for awarding the sponsorship monies will be given to projects that have an emphasis on promoting the interests of young people.

In the last 12 months we have provided funding to launch a healthy eating low cost Fruit & Vegetable scheme in Runcorn, provided funding to enable a vocal coaching school produce a six week training programme and record CD’s and contributed towards the extension of a local war memorial among many others.

Useful Facts:

• Funding is NOT limited to HHT customers, any group/individual who operates in the borough of Halton can apply
• Review meetings take place every 6 – 8 weeks
• You can apply to both the Community Fund and the Community Sponsorship Fund if the money is for different projects/purchases
• We do not fund transport or hire costs
