Each year we allocate a Community Fund budget of £4,000 to provide support or sponsorship for local community or sports projects.
In the past 12 months we have used the Fund to support a number of activities including the purchase of local football team’s kits and equipment, the purchase of equipment for a netball team and also the purchase of a projector for a local community group to broadcast films.
The Fund provides up to £250 to support individuals and up to £350 to support community groups in local initiatives.

Useful Facts:
Funding is NOT limited to HHT customers, any group/individual who operates in the borough of Halton can apply
Review meetings take place every 6 – 8 weeks
The Community Fund can only be accessed once every three years if an application is successful
You can apply to both the Community Fund and the Community Sponsorship Fund if the money is for different projects/purchases
We do not fund transport or hire costs
