We provide an Estates Services Team to maintain and improve communal areas and the surrounding environment for our customers who live in flats.
Our caretakers are responsible for:
- Carrying out regular checks – at least fortnightly, but in most cases every week
- Improving the environment where you live
- Tackling annoying problems, such as litter and graffiti
- Encouraging customers to take an active role in caring for the environment around their home.
What services do our caretakers provide?
- Cleaning and tidying of internal communal areas (hallways and stairs)
- Changing light bulbs in communal areas and making sure the communal areas are well maintained
- Arranging for the removal of bulky items and rubbish from communal areas
- Carrying out minor repairs
- Identifying and ordering repair work
- A point of contact for new customers
- Monitoring empty or abandoned properties

Our two teams operate on a weekly rota, covering all of our blocks of flats across Runcorn and Widnes.
