I you are worried about losing your home, have been served with a notice to leave or have already lost your home Halton Borough Council’s Homelessness section will be able to able to help, provide guidance and support.

You can contact the Council:

·       By telephone, 24 hours a day, on 0303 333 4300

·       Call into one of the Council’s one stop shops. Click here for info.

Everyone who is homeless or threatened with homelessness will be given advice and assistance to try and find accommodation.

The Council has a legal responsibility to people who are homeless, or threatened with homelessness and must make a decision about your ciricumstances within 28 days in writing to you.

The help you may be entitled to will depend on your individual circumstances.
