We run an appointment system which allows us to complete the work more efficiently and conveniently.
What will you need to tell us?
When you contact us and report a repair you will need to tell us the following information:
· Your name, address and contact telephone number
· Nature of the problem
· When you are available for us to call
If you have any special access needs when you report a repair, such as "knocking loudly" when we call, using a password or contacting a neighbour please let us know when you report the repair.
During your call we will provide you with:
· A job reference number
· An appointment when the job will be carried out, where possible, or
· An appointment when an Maintenance Officer will call.
Appointments
If we need to visit your home to carry out a repair we will offer you a morning or afternoon appointment. We also have a limited number of early appointments, 8.00am and can provide an appointment to avoid the school run, please ask when discussing your repair. Once your appointment has been made it is important that you are home to let us, or our appointed contractor, into your home.
In addition, for routine repairs you will receive a text message to the phone line you have given us and and for urgent and routine repairs you will receive a text reminder the day before to help us attend your appointment correctly
If for any reason you cannot keep our appointment please contact the repairs service as early as possible and we will rebook at a more convenient time, In the unlikely event of us not being able to keep an appointment, we will contact you and offer an alternative arrangement
