This summer Halton Housing will be launching a social media campaign called ‘100 Days of HHT’. 100 Days of HHT will launch on Twitter on Tuesday 27th June, 2017. The campaign aims to raise awareness for what a career in social housing has to offer, and how Halton Housing truly do improve lives. The campaign will see videos, images, blogs, Halton Housing news and articles be shared across their Twitter account for 100 consecutive days. The campaign promises to be jam-packed full of fun content and surprising Halton Housing facts.
100 Days of HHT is an experimental campaign for Halton Housing, which will focus on creating and sharing fun, new and interesting content about all things Halton Housing with the public. The campaign’s content will cover a wide range of Halton Housing topic areas, including: the organisation’s culture, workforce, what job roles are on offer within social housing, customers, Halton news and updates, how social housing is helping to improve the landscape of communities and so much more!
To keep up to date with Halton Housing’s 100 Days of HHT social media campaign, you can follow the organisation on Twitter @haltonhousing. You can also follow the campaign and show your support by downloading the 100 Days of HHT Twibbon, which can be found here.
Halton Housing hope the campaign will allow them to tell their social housing story – who they are and what they do – in a fun and interesting way. The campaign aims to communicate the organisation’s housing story to the world, as this is something we as a sector fall short in doing as David Orr, Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation highlighted during his seminar at the NHF Communications and Marketing Conference earlier this year. David highlighted that: ‘By taking ownership of our own stories, organisations within the housing sector can communicate clearly to customers, stakeholders and the world what it is they do, and the contributions they make to society’.
