We’re on the lookout for projects to help get up and running

halton housing van fleetWe’re on the lookout for local projects we can volunteer man power resources and materials to! The projects which are eligible for this kind of support have to:

  • Be run by a not-for profit organisation based in Halton
  • Funding is already in place to cover costs
  • The project needs to be ready to start and can be completed within a 2-week timescale
  • Liability insurance must be in place for Halton Housing staff and volunteers to work on site

Successful applicants should also meet a number of Halton Borough Council’s priorities, which are:

  • A healthy Halton- creating a healthier community and working to promote wellbeing
  • Employment, learning and skills- improving the opportunities for learning development and employment prospects
  • A safer Halton-  provision of pleasant, safe and secure neighbourhood
  • Children and young people- supporting developing and learning
  • Environmental and regeneration- development of a vibrant, accessible borough
