Halton Housing has unveiled a programme of estate walkabouts to help improve the communities its customers live in.
Following feedback received from a recent customer survey, Halton Housing is making some changes to ensure it is doing everything it can to make the communities which it serves great.
Customers said they wanted to see Halton Housing out and about more. One of the ways it is responding to this is by starting estate walkabouts in the Borough.
Debbie Jameson, customer engagement officer said: “Walkabouts are an important way of finding out what matters most to our customers, and what we can do to improve the areas where our customers live.
Walkabouts are an opportunity for customers to meet key Halton Housing staff to identify issues such as anti-social behaviour, environmental improvements and help create places to be proud of.”
Estate walkabouts will involve front line housing teams and other officials from Halton Housing. Local councillors and members of partner agencies including Cheshire Police will also be invited to participate.
The first walkabout will commence on Thursday 11th April at 9:50am starting from Grangeway Shops in Runcorn.
You can find out when and where the walkabouts are being held in your area by viewing the full 2019/2020 programme.
