Our Board Members guide the strategic direction of Halton Housing; they come from a variety of different backgrounds, and each bring specific skills and knowledge to our Board.

As the organisation improves and makes process changes, business improvement ensures our systems, policies and procedures are aligned to deliver the best service possible.

Our Development Team has an exciting programme of new homes either being built and/or at planning stage. Over recent years the team have delivered an extensive portfolio of new build properties as part of our expanding development programme, and are always on the lookout for new build opportunities.

This team keep the business on track, from managing the company accounts, analysing business performance and ensuring all activities are within governance and regulatory guidelines.

Housing Services

Filling vacant homes with customers, offering extra tenancy support to customers who need it, welfare and benefit advice and anti-social behaviour officers make up this team.

HR

Human Resources

The human resources team look after 330 plus, Halton Housing employees. They manage all new employees from attracting the right candidate to recruitment and induction.

ICT

ICT

The team manage and develop systems to allow employees to work flexibly and deliver services from any location. The disruption team are always looking for new technology to improve services and how people use their homes.

The senior management team is led by Liz Haworth, Group Chief Executive, who is supported by a Deputy Chief Executive, a Chief Operating Officer and seven directors.

Our team design campaigns for customers using a number of channels and methods. From award writing, to tweets we keep communication flowing.

Property Services

Maintaining homes, undertaking repairs, bringing homes back to good standards and making adaptations to home our property services team have everything covered.

Tenancy Support Team

Tenancy Support Team

Part of the Housing Services department, our Tenancy Support Team help some of our most vulnerable customers. The Tenancy Support Team offer our customers support on a variety of levels, dependent on the need, from hands on support for up to 12 months right down to a ‘helping hand’ where support is provided for up to 6 weeks.

Our People

Our employees range from maintenance technicians ensuring your homes are heated, welfare officers who can guide you through benefit changes, housing options who match homes to your needs as well as disruptors who research new technology we could use in your homes.

I like the flexibility being able to take my work devices anywhere. I can access all my files wherever I am and not be confined to an office.

Explore Our Office in 360°

In September 2017 we moved to our new, purpose built home, Waterfront Point, Widnes. This was the culmination of years of planning to bring our entire operation under one roof to a space that allowed us to be us.

Our Office & Culture

In many ways, we have come so far from the early days of 2005, but in others, the values have remained the same: transparent, open, honest, innovate and flexible. Whether it’s being the first housing association to handle complaints over Facebook, or employees being able to work from home to avoid traffic or drop children to school, Halton Housing is different.

Different because we want to be, to attract the best people to work with us and to deliver the best service for our customers. Waterfront Point is significant in defining the type of organisation we are and strive to be, flexible, innovative and agile.
