Understandably there is a lot of concern regarding the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) so the team and I want to provide some reassurance to you.
The world-wide spread of the COVID-19 virus has been unprecedented. It is now recognised as a pandemic and expected to impact on all our lives for some months to come. The Halton Housing team will continue to provide service & support with our day to day activities. However, how we do this may change with government advice. Understandably, as is the case across all sectors and workplaces, we ourselves are facing large numbers of colleagues who are self-isolating which will of course have a knock-on effect on the level of service we can provide.
My priority is to protect customers & colleagues, ensuring the team and I follow public health advice including self-isolating should any of our employees display symptoms of COVID-19. Please be reassured that the team continues to do everything they can to minimise the risk when meeting with customers or when our contractors enter your home.
We have prepared a list of answers to your frequently asked questions about repairs, visits, paying your rent, finances and more, which we would encourage you to read.

I think we’ve all been surprised at how quickly this situation is evolving, and we will review and act on Government advice daily. This may result in operational changes that will be communicated via our website and social media channels.
Please be reassured that your safety and that of our team remains my top priority.
